Now that it's light outside, we can see that part of the Crocker's fence is down but that was expected. They have some water getting in their house on one side that's not draining. The dogs are good. Their kennel is kind of leaning a little but they are okay.
We are hearing on the news that Hwy 288 is unpassable. So who knows when we'll get to head back and see what damage we're facing. The City of Lake Jackson posted a phone number that is supposed to be up at noon.
At noon on Saturday the 13th we will have a phone bank set up to answer questions from residents. They can call 979-415-2700. Be patient because we will only have a handful of people answering the calls.
And Oh!! Tommy just let a frog in the house!
Update: We just found this news report from a San Antonio news station. They are reporting from Lake Jackson from the Cher Hotel and you can see the side of Shanghai restaurant on Hwy. 332.
