I can only imagine the emotions and thoughts he was having as he neared the finish line. What an accomplishment. He definitely is a way who finished well.

can i just say... you're an idiot! Just because he is divorced doesn't mean he has a tarnished personal life.. .or even shouldn't be a role model. The guy is a saint... not to mention he survived cancer... when his chances of surviving were very slim. Why dont you read his book before you go making judgements like that

you really should read Lance's book before making a comment like that. I have read both and Lance does not claim to be agnostic...he has his own thoughts God, but he is a believer. Going through what he has been through would make me question my faith also. Lance Armstrong is one of the most accomplished people of our day...everyday he gets bombarded at his front door with drug tests and such, and every time he comes out clean...EVERY TIME! How many other professional athletes, movie stars, singers, or celebrities can say that...especially after surviving cancer. Lance has made a great achievement in not only sports but life!! Please, read the book.

I did read "It's Not About the Bike" and Lance does call himself agnostic. I wasn't trying to slam Lance Armstrong - I am inspired by him just like you. Not only the way he rides a bike but how he rides for others who are fighting cancer as he did. He may have changed his stance since he wrote INATB but I didn't read his second book. He is who he is and I'm cool with that.

I only wish you were willing to own your statements instead of hide behind the "anonymous" label.
