In just two short weeks from today, actually right now as I write this post, we'll be boarding a plane to begin our adventure in Singapore. That's crazy! Something we've been thinking about, planning for and dreaming about for a year is now a reality.
The photo is of a place called Marina Barrage and was taken by a photojournalist there, Tan Geng Hui. I read about it on this blog that we follow. From what I understand, it's a newly developed area and a new ferris wheel - which I will NOT be riding, btw.
Our incredible realtor, Ann, whom we've only met via email will be competing for a medal with a team in the Singapore Dragon Boat Festival on the 2nd Saturday after we arrive. Since she'll be there, we won't be looking for a house that day so our plans are to go experience this event and cheer her on. We're looking forward to it.
Our lives will soon be very different!
